It comes from one of the northernmost areas of the Caucasus, Georgia, home of the attractive carpets known as Kazak. Bordjalou, a town just south of the capital Tbilisi, has linked its name to carpets adorned with intricate hooked motifs. Soft and mellow colors and shiny fleece are the main characteristics of this specimen.
