None of the three jagged lozenges, arranged on the main axis, is the same as the other: each, despite the harmonically unitary effect, bears a different ornamentation. The Boteh which is the element that dominates the whole field and appears in infinite variations, is one of the most enigmatic ornaments. It is indisputable that it is a protective and defensive symbol, clear references to the figure of the auspicious and protective bird of prey.
